Scholarship Alert: $2,000 Award for College-Bound Delaware Residents of Caribbean Descent From TTCAD

$2,000 T&T CAD Scholarship

The Trinidad and Tobago Cultural Association of Delaware (TTCAD) is offering multiple scholarships of up to $2,000 each, to college-bound students.

TTCAD is committed to youth development through its scholarship program which is available to Delaware high school graduates of Caribbean descent.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be of Caribbean descent
  • Be a Delaware resident who is a 2018 high school graduate
  • Have a GPA of 3.0 or greater
  • Be accepted into an accredited university or college for the fall semester
  • Submit a 500-word essay & letter of recommendation
  • Attend one or more interviews with the TTCAD scholarship panelist
  • Attend TTCAD’s Award Ceremony, held on the last Saturday in September.

The CBC Spouses Education Scholarship opportunities support the foundation’s mission to advance the global Black community and are available to current and prospective undergraduate and graduate students pursuing full-time study, in any academic major.

Scholarship Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent U.S. resident
  • Be enrolled in or planning to enroll in the upcoming academic year as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student.

The scholars program is open to current undergraduate students in the United States, majoring in Engineering, Technology and Business disciplines.

Scholars Program Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Have attended high school in the United States
  • Be a U.S. Citizen of Permanent Resident
  • African American
  • Be an undergraduate sophomore or junior at the time of the application
  • Be enrolled at an accredited 4-year university in the United States
